Albox
Albox is traditionally a market town and located approximately 130 kilometres from Almeria which is the capital of the province of the same name. Albox is situated in the heart of the Almanzora Valley covering an area of approximately 165 km², it's northern borders are bounded by Chirivel and Velez Rubio, to south it is bounded by Cantoria, to the east by Taberno and Arboleas. Oria and Partaloa share it's western borders. In recent years the town has become very popular with British and northern Europeans settling here due to the affordability of property and its ability to cater for everything you may need to make a life in Spain.

Antas
Antas is a municipality of Almería province, in the autonomous community of Andalucia, Spain. All around Antas orange and lemon groves stretch for miles and other fruits and vegetables are grown on this highly cultivated area. The local market is famous in the area for the quality of its produce, and the local bars and restaurants offer good food at reasonable prices.
Antas had a number of prehistoric settlements. The remains of Neolithic and Bronze Age man can be seen in various protected sites around the town. Roman and Medieval remains have also been found here, indeed the remains of an aqueduct lie beside the road on the outskirts of the town. The old part of the town has charming streets and old houses and many of the new houses have been built in the style of yesteryear with a view to retaining this charm. The "Virgin of the Cabeza" is dedicated as the Patron Saint of Antas .The main celebration of the locality is the fiesta of the Virgin on the 8th of September.

Arboleas
Bedar
Bedar is an authentic Spanish Village surrounded by glorious mountains looking down on to the fishing port of Garrucha, Mojacar beach and the Mediterranean sea. The winding narrow streets and historical cottages make it a typically traditional Andalucian village suitable to visit on holiday or to purchase a property, and submerge yourself within the local life style. The locals are friendly and there are some fantastic traditional bars and restaurants with wonderful scenery. Bedar is approximately 15 to 20 min drive to the beaches of Garrucha and Mojacar.

Cabrera
Cabrera in is small village perched high in the Sierra Cabrera Mountains with Moorish style houses. Its privileged position makes for stunning sunsets interrupted only by the distant chiming of bells from herds of goats which timelessly roam the countryside. Cabrera over looks El Contijo Grande and the Contijo Golf Resort a very popular Golf Course with both locals and tourists alike.

Cuevas del Almanzora
In the early 19th century silver was discovered in the Sierra Almagrera Mountains. The news spread like wild fire and Cuevas del Almanzora became home to many a fortune hunter. The town got it’s name from the many artificial caves in the nearby hills once inhabited by the miners. This was the start of an age of splendour for the town. The impressive legacy of this silver rush can be seen all around from the elegant family houses of the mining barons to the grand avenues, churches and statues. Many of the grand old houses remain and it is well worth walking around the old town of Cuevas to gaze at the impressive bourgeois architecture, many are still inhabited. A number of these can be found in the Plaza de la Constitución and around the town Hall.
Garrucha
Garrucha is a charming and lively fishing Village that still retains much of its original beauty. In recent years it has become a popular tourist destination both to Spaniards and Northern Europeans. The town is most famous for the quality of its large red prawns, fished only in the local waters of Garrucha with its strong fishing industry background, together with a large port for both commercial and leisure pursuits. Garrucha has a great selection of restaurants, markets and bars with many excellent seafood restaurants found along the seafront serving all types of freshly caught fish and sea related dishes.

Los Gallardos
Los Gallardos is a small friendly village which is perfectly situated for motorways. Only 30 minutes from the Airport of Almeria and yet it's only a 10 minutes drive to the beaches of Mojacar and Garrucha. The village has all the amenities you would expect to find in much larger town but retains a village feel due its sense of community and friendly locals. Los Gallardos has had a massive injection of investment in the last couple of years which has transformed the town into one of the most desirable place to live. The town has had a new School built with all new facilities, New sport centre, New state of the art football pitch, New medical center, New local out door swimming pool and day centre. Lubrin
Lubrin is a typically inland Andalucian market village that when you enter if it were not for the abundance of Mercedes and BMW you would think you'd had stepped back over 200 years in time. With its traditional buildings and the locals who love to greet new comers and tourists almost as long lost friends. The bars and restaurants all offering traditional tapas, authentic meats, cheeses, olive oils and local wines.

Mojacar
Mojacar has two very different parts to its identity. Mojacar Pueblo is a traditional hilltop village (according to local history the birth place of the famous Walt Disney) with its steep and narrow streets of cube-shaped, whitewashed houses it is truly beautiful with stunning views which take your breath away. A profusion of flowers completes this picture postcard scene. Mojacar Pueblo is best enjoyed in the evening once the many day trippers have departed, and is a very attractive village which sits on the mountains overlooking Mojacar Beach. Which in complete contrast has a modern coastal strip of beach bars and palm trees, This has become an attractive tourist location to both Spanish and British holiday makers. Palomares
San Juan de los Terreros
San Juan de los Terreros has been developed over the past few years and there are now all the facilities that you would expect from an up and coming beach town including a fantastic promenade complete with children’s play areas and innovative adult exercise/keep fit areas. Nice looking wooden beach bars have been erected and there are some good restaurants and bars.
Sorbas
Sorbas is a natural fortress situated on an Island of rock. The town houses literally hang on off the cliff tops and are quite spectacular when viewed at night. Sorbas has many surrounding hamlets to experience country living with the main town only few minutes drive away. It is also famous for its Cueves de Sorbas which is a spectacular underground complex of caves. It is also close to Mini Hollywood the area where a number of international films have been made, such as the good, the bad, and the ugly etc.

Turre
Turre is a small village surrounded by mountains and 5 min drive from Mojacar village and Mojacar beach. There is a weekly market from 9-2pm every Friday selling high quality local produce. There are also many shops, restaurants and bars to choose from, with most restaurants serving the local cuisine and best known are its strong flavoured stews, Jamon's and local olive oils. Local activities are rock climbing, walking, and horse riding. The famous Cortijo Grand golf course and resort is no more than 5 minutes away. There are many historical building within the centre of Turre which are well worth a visit.

Vera
Vera is a small town yet a local bank capital and is only 8 kms inland. The main square, Plaza Mayor, has several buildings of interest due to their architecture and historical significant of the past. The town is modern but still retains its charm of the past which is best depicted on market day and within the local bars and restaurants. There is a large market every Saturday held in the town centre. The Beach at Vera Playa is a long stretch of coast with quite secluded beaches and coves some of which are well sign posted as council-designated naturist beaches. The official naturist beach zone runs the length of the naturist beach, which include public streets and seaside promenades (don't worry they are clearly sign posted).
